Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
9.30 a.m. Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park via Namanga border town for lunch. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 2: Amboseli
6:30a.m. Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. A further game drive will follow. Plains game including giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and various antelopes can be seen. A lunch and leisure break at the camp will be followed by an evening game drive, looking out for the peak of Kilimanjaro which can be seen in clear weather. Elephants and hippos can be seen bathing in the swamp grounds which get their water from springs fed by the melting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 3: Amboseli-Nairobi

Day 01: Nairobi BB
You are met on arrival and transferred to the Stanley Hotel, a city centre hotel and one of the main meeting places in Nairobi, especially the famous Thorn Tree Terrace. Arrangements are for bed and breakfast.
Day 02: Nairobi - Shaba Game Reserve
[4 hours approximately]
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive up to the Equator crossing for a short stop to see the "performing of the waters", where a local entrepreneur demonstrates the clockwise and anticlockwise properties of running water on each side of the Equator line. Continue to Shaba, where you arrive at the camp of the same name for lunch. In actual fact there are three adjoining reserves, Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba, situated in arid country north of Mount Kenya, and watered by the Uaso Nyiro River and natural springs. It is very scenic, with craggy hills and everywhere Doum palms following the water courses.
Some unusual animal species can be found here; the Reticulated Giraffe, Oryx, Lesser Kudu, Grevy's Zebra, and the Gerenuk, known as the "Giraffe Gazelle". Afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at the Camp.

Depart after breakfast and drive via Nyahururu Falls to Lake Nakuru, in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a soda lake often frequented by thousands of Greater and Lesser Flamingos lining the shore in a pink mass.
The Lake is famous for the various water birds that breed in the lake’s alkaline waters including flamingos, white pelicans and marabou stork can be seen. White rhino may be seen as well as the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, Cape buffalo and other plains game.

After breakfast depart for the Masai Mara arriving at the camp for lunch. This Reserve is one of Africa's best known wildlife areas, and is part of the Serengeti ecosystem.

Day 01: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

Depart Arusha after lunch, and drive across the Masai Steppe to the Great Rift Valley, and up the escarpment to your hotel perched on the rim and overlooking the park below. From which ever direction you approach Lake Manyara, you get a spectacular view. Approaching from the east the Great Rift Valley wall forms an impressive backdrop to the Lake. From the west, with a pause at the top of the escarpment, the park lies below, a green strip beside a glistening lake.
Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of 330 square kilometers, of which about two thirds is the lake itself, and the rest is forest, acacia woodland and some grasslands by the lake shore. The wildlife can be migratory between Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park across the lake, but you should see elephant, hippo, Cape buffalo, giraffe , several species of primate and antelope, and prolific birdlife. After breakfast there is a game drive in the park. There are normally plenty of Hippos around, and you may be lucky enough to see the elusive tree climbing lions for which this park is famous.
After lunch continue to the Serengeti National Park. This is one of the most popular and spectacular game areas in East Africa, covering an area of 14,765 square kilometers, teaming with game. A particular feature of the Serengeti is the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebra herds. Each year, after the traditional "short" rains in November the migration starts when the herds amass in their thousands on the plains below the Ngorongoro highlands.
During February they move north and west following the rains and the new grasslands, and they start to move into the Masai Mara in July. In October they move back to Tanzania .This annual phenomenon involves more than 1.5 million animals, including the lion and other predators that follow the herds for easy pickings. The whole process affects the lives of thousands of other species who rely on the passage of the migration for their survival, even the insects, not to mention the trees and plants which rely on the droppings for their fertilization. Your stop includes a visit to the small museum overlooking the Gorge. After a picnic lunch you continue on to your Camp on the Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and overnight. "It is impossible to give a fair description of the size and beauty of the Crater, for there is nothing with which one can compare it. It is one of the Wonders of the World."

Day 7: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater, viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains and stopping off at Olduvai Gorge en route. The Gorge acquired its name from the Sansevieria bush that grows profusely in the area, named Olduvai by the Maasai. The Gorge is about 50km long and in some places around 90m deep and is found between the Crater and the Serengeti. It was first discovered by a German entomologist named Professor Kattwinkel, who instigated an expedition just before the First World War. Later, the exploration was continued by Dr Louis Leakey and his wife, who in 1959 found humanoid remains of Zinjanthropus, later renamed Australapithicus Boisei, an early form of man.
You will have time to walk through the simple small museum at the gorge, where you can view copy displays of some of the finds as well as pictures of what life was like for the gorge’s earliest inhabitants. Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart by 4x4 to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you’ll descend through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is also one of the World’s seven natural wonders. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct habitats, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara
After breakfast, depart the Crater and drive through the highlands to Lake Manyara, stopping off at Mto wa Mbu village en route for a great cultural lunch. From here, you’ll continue to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive before ending the day on the rim of the crater at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Highview Hotel
Day 10: Lake Manyara - Arusha
(approximately 2½ hours)
Depart after breakfast and head east, down the fascinating escarpment of the Rift Valley towards the village of Makuyuni and onto Arusha. The journey will pass through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. Lunch in Arusha before being dropped of f ( to catch your flight to Zanzibar on onward arrangement, or drive to Nairobi to connect your homebound flight)

The "Kenya and Tanzania Safari" visiting the main wildlife areas of East Africa.
Traveling directly between the Masai Mara and the Serengeti adds a certain thrill to this classic safari and allows one to immediately enjoy the wonderful scenery, vegetation, culture and wildlife that both countries offer with reduced driving distance.
Day 1: Nairobi
You are met on arrival and transferred to the Stanley Hotel, a city centre hotel, second only to the Norfolk for historical interest, and one of the main meeting places in Nairobi, especially the famous Thorn Tree Terrace. Arrangements are for bed and breakfast.
Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru
Depart Nairobi, through the Kenya's fertile highlands, where rolling tea and coffee estates abound. Then suddenly to your left, the trees part to reveal a spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley, with dormant Longonot volcano taking centre stage. Your panoramic journey will then take you past Lake Naivasha, with its Crescent Island and onto Lake Nakuru. The lake is often coloured by a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. Following lunch and time to relax, there will be a game drive in the afternoon that returns to the lodge as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill .
Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
After Breakfast depart for Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Game Lodge

Day 5: Masai Mara - Serengeti
In the Mara river there are crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks, and hippos playing in the water. Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Giraffe, Topi, Gazelle are all in abundance and during the months of July to September the great migration of wildebeest and zebras spill over from the Serengeti. The sight of these beasts legging it across the Mara River, avoiding both the crocodiles in the river, and the predators harassing them from behind is amazing, and the topic of some of the most spectacular photography ever seen.
Depart the Mara region after breakfast (with a picnic lunch) to the Isebania border post between Kenya and Tanzania. (Around 3 hours).for immigration formalities .Later drive to the Serengeti arriving in time for an afternoon game drive .Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wild Camp
Day 6: Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti ( with an option of a Balloon Safari at extra cost.)

Day 7: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater, viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains and stopping off at Olduvai Gorge en route. The Gorge acquired its name from the Sansevieria bush that grows profusely in the area, named Olduvai by the Maasai. The Gorge is about 50km long and in some places around 90m deep and is found between the Crater and the Serengeti. It was first discovered by a German entomologist named Professor Kattwinkel, who instigated an expedition just before the First World War. Later, the exploration was continued by Dr Louis Leakey and his wife, who in 1959 found humanoid remains of Zinjanthropus, later renamed Australapithicus Boisei, an early form of man.
You will have time to walk through the simple small museum at the gorge, where you can view copy displays of some of the finds as well as pictures of what life was like for the gorge’s earliest inhabitants. Upon arrival at the lodge, you’ll have lunch and some time to relax, before departing on a gentle nature walk with a lodge naturalist. Dinner and Overnight at Highview Hotel
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart by 4x4 to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you’ll descend through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is also one of the World’s seven natural wonders. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct habitats, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes.
It’s an awesome wildlife experience. Late afternoon you leave the Crater and drive back to the lodge for the evening. Dinner and Overnight at Highview Hotel

Day 2; Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park
Morning game drives then proceed to Amboseli National park we view game as we proceed towards the campsite for dinner and overnight. Amboseli Park (at 392 sq km) is the second most popular park in Kenya after Masai Mara, mainly due to the spectacular backdrop ofMt. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park
Full Day spent exploring this park. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Here elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena, jackal, warthogs, zebra and the Maasai giraffe are likely to be seen.
Day 4 Amboseli –Lake Nakuru National park
We break the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru national park. Picnic lunches enroute followed by afternoon game drives at the park famed for numerous species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay at a campsite.
Day 5 Lake Nakuru Maasai Mara
Breakfast at the campsite and depart for Mara crossing loita plains arriving Mara. Game viewing enroute to the campsite. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here
Day 6/7 Maasai Mara
Full days spent exploring the park world’s most popular park in search of the big 5.Morning and afternoon game drives are offered and optional visit to Maasai villages can be arranged with your guide. Dinner and overnight stay at a campsite.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.
